Betty Jane Pittman Sprouse STUARTS DRAFT

Betty Jane Pittman Sprouse, 80, of Stuarts Draft, passed away early Sunday morning, March 22, 2009, at Augusta Medical Center.

She was born November 9, 1928, in Augusta County, the daughter of the late Clarence Edward Pittman Sr. and Mary Brownlee Pittman.

Mrs. Sprouse was retired from Woodrow Wilson Rehab Center.

Survivors include her husband, Franklin T. Sprouse; three daughters, Mary Jane Furr of Waynesboro, Patricia Ann Stiltner and Jeannie Marie Goulet, both of Stuarts Draft; one sister, Peggy Norman of Waynesboro; sister-in-law, Jean Pittman of Waynesboro; grandchildren, Sonya Terrell, Michael Goulet, Eric and Keith Gilbert; great-grandchildren, Jordon, Noah and Jonah Terrell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A service will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2009, at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes by Pastor Bob Johnson. Burial will follow at Augusta Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2009, at the funeral home and other times at 26 Whippoorwill Cove, Waynesboro.

Active pallbearers will be Jamie, Tracy, Ricky, and Cody Norman, Byron Terrell, Robert Johnson, and Mike Benavitch.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Stuarts Draft Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 260, Stuarts Draft, VA 24477.
