Houston has lost a talented, highly educated and deeply committed person.

Liz, Aaron and family -

I am so very sorry for your tremendous loss. Carl was such an inspiration to us all with his incredible desire to educate and share his knowledge with others. We will miss Carl deeply -- the Museum will not be the same without him. My prayers are with you.

Dear Liz and Aaron,
I am so sorry to hear of Carl's passing. We at the Houston Museum of Natural Science will miss him as a volunteer. You have my deepest sympathy.

It is with the greatest sorrow that we witness the passing of our dear neighbor on the opposite side of the street. Carl will always be remembered as a loving father, dedicated peace activist, superb musician; a great soul and brilliant mind that left this earth far too early.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
