Not sure what to say?

Sharon, I couldn't believe the news when my mother called and told me of Carl's passing. I know you have a really strong family and they will provide you with strength. My heart is broken for your loss.

I wanted to add one thing. Greg said, "Carl always covered my backside in football" I am sure he will be covering all of yours from on high as well.. Warmly, Yvonne Bennett

Unbelieveably sad news, and the world is a more empty today. I will always remember Carl as the gentle giant of VHS. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Sharon and family in this time of loss. I have no doubt that the angels wept, but God has a new quarterback on his team.

Dear Sharon and family
Greg and I send our deepest sympathy to you and yours. Carl was a Prince of a man, a gentle giant as I remember him. He and Greg were so close during their football years at VHS. Kind to everyone and yours from such a young age. May you and your family find comfort in your wonderful memories. He is gone but will live forever in all your hearts...
Love, Greg and Yvonne Bennett

I have fond memories of the many chats I had with Carl & Sharon whilst on my morning runs on the Ojai Trail & the streets around Mira Monte before we moved from Ojai in 2005.

He was such a great guy & I know he will be missed.

My thots & prayers are with the Michels family.

Godspeed Carl...

I am sorry to hear of Carl's passing. Sharon, may you and your family celebrate a life well lived and cherish the memories forever.

Both Cheryl and I send you our blessings and prayers. Although I haven't spoken with Carl since our 10th class reunion, I thought of him often. He made me my first homemade peach ice cream and I remember how excited we were when we got our drivers license. He got his first and we went on our first cruise, what a great guy He was madly in love with you in high school Sharon and there was never going to be any other woman for him. May God bless you and your family.

I always look forward to Carl's comments on Facebook. It was so much fun to watch for his photos and hear what he and Sharon have been doing. As with others I was in immediate tears......he just touched us all that way. I'm very sorry he had to move on Sharon. I hope you find peace in your memories. Rest in peace Carl.

Sharon...I am so broken hearted to have learned the nicest man I ever knew has left us. So, so, so very sorry for you all to suffer such a loss. To this day I often think of you both and back to the times when we were starting out together. As far as I was always concerned you guys made such great choices and lived life right. My heart goes out to you along with my prayers!
