It is with deep regret and profound sorrow that we sadly announce the passing of Cecil David Epps, Jr., age 63 of Kingstree, South Carolina, who died Saturday, August 1, 2020, at the MUSC Health Florence Medical Center in Florence, South Carolina.
Funeral service for Cecil David Epps, Jr. will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 8, 2020, at Beulah AME Church Cemetery, 2272 Sumter Highway, Kingstree, South Carolina where Bishop Dr. Linwood Cooper will provide Words of Comfort. The Interment will follow thereafter.
Family members are receiving friends at 1146 Kindale Park Road, Kingstree, South Carolina.

Cecil David Epps, Jr., son of the late Cecil David Epps, Sr. and Mary Katherine Epps Fulton, was born on Friday, November 23, 1956 in Warren County, Virginia.
On Saturday, August 1, 2020, at MUSC Health-Florence Medical Center in Florence, South Carolina, Cecil David Epps, Jr. entered into eternal rest, after an illness.
He received his formal education in the public schools of Melbourne, Florida and later moved to West Palm Beach, Florida, where he spent most of his life.
At an early age, he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in West Palm Beach, Florida. After moving to South Carolina, he attended Word of God Ministries in Kingstree, South Carolina, where the religious leader is Pastor John Eley .
Cecil was employed as a heavy machine operator at Jackson Construction for many years. He enjoyed doing mechanical work, drawing, building, and repairing underground utilities. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Loved ones left to cherish his wonderful memories forever are two daughters, Jeannetta Latara Mitchell and Katrina Lashawn Epps, both of Rivera Beach, FL; four granddaughters: Jakara Mitchell, Jakira Mitchell, Tiyah Jenelle Epps and Taliyah Noelle Epps, all of Rivera Beach, FL; one brother, Willie Brockington of Lake City, SC; two sisters, Brenda Fulton of Kingstree, SC and Diane Epps of Charleston, SC; one uncle, Leroy (Alifair “Lillie Mae”) Fulton of Kingstree, SC; five aunts: Emma J. McKnight-Epps and Margaret Fulton, both of Kingstree, SC, Hattie Mae Ward of Washington, DC, Lucille Fulton of Philadelphia, PA and Lucille Fulton of Greeleyville, SC; four nephews: Christopher Fulton of Kingstree, SC, Jeffrey Daniels of Lake City, SC, Denetric “Smookey” Epps and Rayshawn Epps, both of Nesmith, SC; five nieces: Danielle Fulton of Greenville, SC, Lonzetta Epps of Myrtle Beach, SC, Vanity Epps of Kingstree, SC, Jessica M. Gause and Sharada Graham, both of Lake City, SC; three great-grand nieces, Brittany Epps of Columbia, SC, Ariel Epps of Myrtle Beach, SC and Jaysha Burgess of Greenville, SC; four great-grand nephews: Jaquan Epps, Shyheim Epps, Cortez Richardson and Josiah Epps, all of Kingstree, SC; a host of other relatives and friends.
