Jack Washam was a very good friend to my parents and to me when I was growing up. And a good friend when I moved back home and lived across from him. Jack, of all the stories you told me, I loved the one about the autographed photo of Apollo 8 Commander Frank Borman the best. Thanks for the memories and friendship.

I will certainly miss my uncle Jack. What a great example: fighting for our freedom, caring well for his wife, children, extended family and friends, and demonstrating life-long loyalty to those with whom he worked. What a great blessing and encouragement he was to all who knew him!
