Read MoreI met Bud through my friend, Nina. I developed a friendship with Bud. He was a good friend. I know Bud loved Nina, with all his heart and felt blessed to be with her. I know both of them had a great love for each other. I am sorry for Nina, who is experiencing a terrible loss as well as Bud's family.

Although I only knew Bud through Nina I was impressed with his resilience and his fighting spirit to try new interventions to allow their lives together to continue.
He was lucky to have Nina by his side providing her knowledge expertise and love to help him as he struggled with his disease.
Hoping Bud’s family can hold their memories close as they mourn.
