Not sure what to say?

I am late to this, but please accept my condolences. Doan was one of those people who could make me laugh uncontrollably. He was so funny and such a kind hearted soul. How is it that when we are young we don't often recognize how rare people like Doan are.

Like Elaine said, I can't hear a George Michaels song without thinking about Doan.

Dear Richard and family, It is heartbreaking to read of the loss of this wonderful person, Doan, your son. Our hearts go out to you and your family, we know so well how inadequate words are at this time....just know that we're thinking of all of you and holding you in our hearts and prayers, much love, Fran & Rick

I was so sorry to hear the news of Doan's passing. It's many years since our Montreal West days but I remember our joint family activities fondly. My condolences to the whole family.

Dear Richard & family,

Our deepest sympathy for the loss of your son Doan.

The Toppi family on Smart Ave.

It is with a deep sense of sympathy to the family that I write these few words
I knew Doan from work in Laval, he was a good friend, kind and selfless. We would talk about comics, movies and TV shows among things. Always there to lend a helping hand My deepest and sincerest condolences to all the family.

My condolences to the family. Worked with Dean and yes he was all of what is obituary say and more. RIP my friend and may God have your soul right beside him.

My condolences to the Tobin family and to all who loved Doan so dearly. My memories of Montreal West always include Doan. He was so kind. Always ready for a laugh. To this day I think of Do whenever I hear a George Michael song. Rip Doan. You will be missed.

Ed and I send our love and heartfelt sympathy to you all. Doan was a much loved and welcome visitor in the McDougall household. Our cherished memories of him will always make us smile. Thanks for the memories Doan. Our prayers and thoughts are with you all.
Pat and Ed McDougall

Dear Richard and all of your family: My sincerest sympathy on the untimely loss of your dear Doan. I only met him once--one Sunday at breakfast after Mass. He was handsome, charming and had a delightful smile. My thoughts and prayers are with Doan and all his family and friends.
