My husband and I were vacationing in Hawaii and witnessed everything occur in Wailea. I just want you to know that my heart was broken for you and I prayed fervently, the entire time that so many people were trying to save him. It was a heroic effort from so many. I continue to pray for the family as sudden loss is so difficult to wrap your mind around. May God bring you peace and joy each day.

Don was such an all around good student and athlete at Marshfield High and it was so nice to see him at our 60th class reunion.

To the love of my life. You were a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend to all. Half of me died with you on that beach. May God bless you and may you rest in peace.

He and Phil Cass would learn to fly together and then buy an airplane and fly their own airplane after they had soloed. During one of our flights together...

My heart goes out to you for your deep loss you must be feeling for your beloved Donald. How sad to lose someone so loved and so needed. May you find comfort in prayer and in one another. (Jeremiah 29:12,13)

Theresa, I am so sorry for your loss. Don was such a wonderful man, so kind, and offered so many beautiful compliments last year after I lost my Dad. Words seem so empty right now... praying that your great memories carry you through the tough times.
