Mr. Higgins was always kind to me when I was in high school. I have fond memories of him. Charlie Richardson, Darien High School class of `83.

My condolences to the family on the passing of Doc Higgins. I graduated from BHS in 2004 and he was a very kind man to us all. He will be missed by many!

I admired Ed for many reasons, both personally and professionally. I knew, when I worked with him, that I was privileged to be associated with a man of such great character and vision. He provided an environment where my efforts were appreciated and supported. Which ultimately lead to what Ed was all about..."improved learning for everyone". He was the best!

Ed Higgins was a great leader and a visionary. He will be missed dearly. RIP
