Not sure what to say?

Gone but not forgotten. Loving memories of she and Pastor Morris Smith while at Second Baptist. They both were instrumental in a turning point in my life. Peace and Blessings to their family continuously.

To The Family of Mrs. Elsie Smith,

Mrs. Smith was an extraordinary lady. She had an unrelenting commitment to working with the youth of Second Baptist Church and of the community. She challenged, instructed, and encouraged many youth, who are now leaders residing in different parts of the country. Her devotion to the mission and ministry beyond the church walls caused the spearheading of annual outreach efforts to the youth & adult population at the Joliet Youth Correctional Center,...

I worked with Mrs. Smith for a short time, while in District 86. I had numerous opportunities to observe her, while she worked with her multi-needs students. She was a wonderful, caring professional. She knew her students so well, and they benefited from her special care and attention. We're all better for having known her.

To The Family of Elsie B. Smith,

My family and I express our deepest sympathy to the family and friends during this time and the days to come. I have such fond memories of her in the past when we taught in District 86. May you receive the comfort, strength, peace, and joy from God to help you.

My deepest sympathy goes out to this family in the passing of your loved one. May you find peace in knowing she is now in the arms of the Lord.

Mrs. Smith was truly God sent! My prayers to the family as she and Rev. Smith will truly be missed.

Angela, Michelle and family,
You have our deepest sympathy.
We love you, Dearly.
