Emily, I am saddened by the loss of your life. We just got reconnected after both trying to find each other the last few years. We had so much to catch up on and we never had the chance to do so. Our timing was never right. I am glad I have pictures from our freshman year of high school together and all the memories to keep in my heart. I love you.

I went to high school with Emily and ran into her a few months back.. I remembered her just the way she looked that day, after years apart. She will be sadly missed.

Emily was a student of mine at Lincoln Land. She took Art Appreciation last fall even though it was not a requirement for her degree. I know the past year presented Emily with struggles, however, she handled them with an amazing attitude and was always positive and smiling no matter what life handed her. She was passionate in her studies, volunteer work, and most of all, motherhood. My heart goes out to her family during this difficult time, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
