Not sure what to say?

Dear Marguerite,
I have recently purchased a townhome in Charlottesville. Just today I saw the name Ritchie posted in Senior Citizen Newspaper and started inquiring about dear Dr. Ritchie and you. I went to retreats with you years ago after having Dr. Ritchie as my doctor in UVA Psychiatric Hospital. Charles and I had two children, Tripp and Kathleen. Tripp committed suicide in 1985 (almost 17) and Kathleen and family live in Charlottesville--have two adorable grandchildren. Charles...

My sincere condolences to Mrs. Ritchie, Bonnie and Johnnie. Although it has been some 44 years since we last met, Dr. Ritchie was a physician, friend and mentor to me. He enriched my life and I consider myself fortunate to have known him.

George Ritchie has always held a special place in the hearts of our family.

We will truly miss George here, but rejoice knowing that he will be reunited with others who love him, and will be there to greet us some day.

Son of Elva M. Ritchie Blanton

I have very fond memories of pleasant and very interesting conversations with Dr. Ritchie, when he lived near my Mother, Yvonne Williams. He was a kind and thoughtful man; he once took my son and I out on his boat to go fishing. My son became frightened of the waves and Dr. Ritchie quietly took him right back to shore. It was an unusual and very thoughtful thing to do!
I will remember him fondly and wish to send my thoughts and prayers to his family, in sympathy for their...

My most sincere condolences to the family - Marguerite, Bonnie and Johnnie. My late husband knew George as far back as kindergarten, and then on through Medical school. We ended up as neighbors in later years, and many fond memories linger of the good times we had with George and Marguerite.

One thing for sure, George will not have gone fearfully. After waiting more than 60 years, he has returned to the land he saw briefly at age 20 when he died for several minutes.

He will be remembered for his courage in speaking the truth of what happened to him at a time when near-death experiences were not taken seriously, nor mentioned in polite company.

I met him in the course of editing and publishing his second book. He had a great and unforgettable impact on me. I trust...

Dr Ritchie was a cousin of mine and we have not seen him since I was a child and they would visit. My prayers and thoughts are with the family. He was a great man for all the work he did.

Dr. Ritchie was a friend of my
Father's from long ago. Since my
Father is deceased, I wanted to
express my condolences to his family. My father was Dr. Clyde Franklyn Melton.
