We were very sorry that we were in England and therefore missed the memorial service for Marty. A wondeful lady! It is with great regret that we are unable to attend the gathering of family to remember Marty. She was a kind woman who was able to make people laugh at any moment. We have fond memories of traveling with Marty to Los Angeles and Mexico. We often visited Marty in her home in Vancouver, she was very supportive during university years and would take me out for dinners while I was a poor student at UBC. Though we met infrequently I will never forget Marty's grace and generosity to members of her extended family, particularly helping my father when he lost his father. Please accept my appreciation of Marty and my condolences on her passing.
