Just found out about Jack last weekend. So sorry to hear this. I met Jack back in the 90s when I first moved to southside. Over the years we became friends, he taught me a lot about guitar, Frank Zappa, William Burroughs, and movies/books. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones. Jack was a good guy.

I just now found out and am heartcrushed. Jack was one of the best friends I had at ASFA, and the only other person who was as into Black Sabbath as I was (am). The spirit of Higgy Patton goes with my friend. See you on the other side.

Jack's red mustang, love of music and bright smile will always be in my memory. All of us who had the privilege knowing Jack Lanier are better people because of it. My deepest sympathies to Hilary, friends and family.

My deepest sympathies to Jack's family and friends. I remember Jack from my years teaching in the dance department at ASFA. He was a very special guy. He just seemed to have that presence that one remembers so fondly. I hope we will keep him close to our hearts, gently honoring his life and work by living with kindness and a smile.

Jack did my ultrasound with my first pregnancy and I will never forget him. I miscarried, and he was very supportive and kind. Prayers for peace and comfort for his family and friends.
