Jeanne A. (Meyers) Heath, born on June 23, 1937, in Canton, OH, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at Aultman Hospital after a two year courageous battle with cancer. She attended St. Mary's Catholic School of Canton and Lincoln High School. Jeanne met her husband, Robert, at Myers Lake and enjoyed 54 wonderful years of marriage. She enjoyed playing the organ and going to casinos. Jeanne was a homemaker and parishioner of St. Paul's Catholic Church of Canton. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, John and Emma Lucille Meyers; siblings, Paul, Dale, Bud, Vincent "Whitie", Robert "Bobbie" and Hazel; and grandson, Buddy. She is survived by her husband, Robert; children, Ron & Diana, Tom & Melinda and Lisa; grandchildren, Rob, Andy & Mandi, Aaron & Jessy, Ashley, Amanda, Nicole, Christopher, Becca and Lucus; great-grandchildren, Cristian, Katie, Skylar and Brooklyn; and sisters, Rita, Rosie and Katie. The family would like to extend a special "thank you" to Dr. Schmotzer and his staff, and to Morning Star for their outstanding care and kindness. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 10am in St. Paul's Catholic Church of Canton (1459 Superior Ave. N.E., Canton) with Msgr. Lewis F. Gaetano as celebrant. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 27, 2010 (TONIGHT) from 6-9pm in the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to Aultman Hospice (2821 Woodlawn N.W., Canton, OH 44708).
