I learned to respect and admire a very gifted man through his talented and loving daughter, Sarah. The world is less since he is no longer on this Earth but his legacy will be forever in the memories of his family and friends and those he healed.

I am the one on the left of this picture outside Memorial Hospital in 1963
I lremember him. I was a medical student, coming from Mexico City, on november 1963, and stayed at Memorial Hospital for three months. It was my first and unforgettable encounter with real medicine. Dr Freymann made it easy and very inspiring.
He thought me, more then medical skills. He was a teacher in medicine and in life.
After 55 years, I am now a neurologist, graduated as he was, from the Mayo Clinic.

I wish I could have personally known such a great man. His daughter, Sarah, saved my life one time while flying when I got confused. He has left a great legacy and family. His passing fills me with sadness but now he suffers no longer. Etta Diann Dougherty
