I worked with Joyce at Kirk Elementary School. As a new teacher she was a wonderful mentor and a great friend to me. She helped me be a better teacher. She had the best sense of humor and always put a smile on my face. She is one of those people who makes everyone’s day better and definitely lights up a room. I will miss her very much. I met Joyce when she was a parent at Turner Elementary School. I was Stephen's teacher and met with her in Parent Teacher Conferences. My sympathy to the Trout family for her passing.
