Lucy was a true friend, classmate and was my bridesmaid. I still have two of her pictures hanging in my living room and think of her often with much love.

Lucy was a dear friend and my suite mate in Gillett House when we were both Ada Comstock Scholars. She was a wonderful person and is greatly missed. Condolences to her family.

I'm so sad and send condolences to Lucy's family. Lucy and I lived in the same house at Smith College and enjoyed many meals today. I also purchased one of her pieces of art when she had her graduation show at Smith College. Just learned of her passing from the Smith Quarterly. Deepest sympathy, Teri Rietfort (Smith '91)

In 2006, I contacted the Heckscher Museum about becoming a docent. Lucy responded with enthusiasm and for the next several years shared her knowledge and expertise with me, helping me to become a competent docent. Although I no longer am affiliated with the Heckscher Museum, I still remember her sage advice and am grateful to have met her.
