Not sure what to say?

Marcia Federbush was always willing, in fact eager, to help anyone who was in need. For example, she helped entertain participants at a day care for elderly who were experiencing memory problems, when my mother-in-law was in charge of activities at that agency. Later, when my mother-in-law became very ill, Marcia brought her some very wonderful smelling skin creme. At the funeral for my mother-in-law, Marcia played the organ. Marcia's talents were enormous, both in music, writing verse and in...

I never met Ms. Federbush, but her work has had an impact upon my life. I am a Title IX Coordinator. Her life of ethical service to humanity is an example to all of us. She had the courage to say what needed to be said and to take a stand when one was needed. She is a hero for humanity.

Marcia was a fierce defender of people's needs whether women's issues, children's rights, or injustices around the community and world. It was an honor to work with her on many causes and she will be deeply missed. Marilyn (Mrs. Donald) Koster

First heard Marcia's musical political wit at the Detroit Women's Coffee House, many, many years ago. Condolences,

Many many hours spent with Marcia on so many fronts and for so many great issues/causes. Marcia had me standing tall with her for Shirley Chisholm and from there we bonded. We remained friends for life. My thoughts and sympathy to the family. I learned and loved from this dear friend. RIP Marcia your work here is done, now you have much to do in the kingdom! Always, Charles L. Duty

you never had to wonder for long where Marcia stood on nearly every issue, almost always on the good side...she will be missed, and her empty place will not soon be filled!...may she rest in peace....

My deepest sympathies to the family,
Marcia was a dynamo of energy and knowledge to an aspiring community activist like myself. She inspired me to strive to do more on behalf of our community, especially its children. She will be missed.

-Susan Baskett, Ann Arbor Board of Education

I worked with Marcia on the Ann Arbor Schools Title IX Committee in the 1980's and learned a lot from her. She was a strong and dedicated advocate for gender and racial equity.
