Not sure what to say?

Ann,

I just reread these notes about your mother -- what an impressive tribute they comprise. And - I didn't even know she disliked gum chewing in public almost as much as I do. We could have had a fun conversation about that.

Speaking of fun; Ruth, Bobby and I often (every time we think of Marguerite or Dorothy) remember the great Krispy Kream Donut escapade.

Best wishes again to you, Gary and the children.

Ann, I am so sorry that as an adult I never took the time to call your mom and let her know that if I was ever asked what teacher had the most impact on my life I would of named her. She not only was a special lady, but a role model for my later life. I have taught my little granddaughters everything she taught me about cooking and sewing so her teaching continues through more generations. What a privilege it was to have known her and how lucky I was to have learned from her.

Dear Ann, I am so sorry that I never took the time to notify that one "Special" teacher that so influenced my life--it was your mom. I am a grandmother now and have passed on everything she taught me to my granddaughters so her gift of teaching will continue to go on and on. What a honor it was to have known and learned from her. Our thoughts are with you. I loved her.

My senior year at EHHS (1970), Mrs. Thompson was my homemaking teacher. She was always so kind, and a wonderful teacher. I still have recipes from that class.
I am so sorry for your loss, and I will remember you in my prayers.

To a loving teacher that taught me how to sew in my 12th year in high school. It has helped me so much over the years to be able to sew. You will be missed.
