I encounter many patients every day but none quite like Mrs. Bateman. Always so kind, humble and brave. I will forever hold her dear to my heart and will never forget how her face lit up when she talked about her husband and his love for ice cream. She was such a great woman and she has left a footprint in my heart forever. My most sincere condolences to all of her family and friends.
