There was never a finer person, a finer supervisor than Joan. She always knew how to make our division "special". She took good care of her "girls" and treated each of us with importance and respect. She had such class and such a loving heart. The love she had for us, from our Christmas sweatshirts that she made with each clerk in mind from hand, her love of the UK Basketball Cats (not sure if she ever forgave Rick for leaving), to trips to Gatlinburg, to her luncheons and dinners in her...

I knew your Dad, Rudy very well and considered him to be a very close friend. I met your Mother on several occasions when I visited your Dad. Your Mother had pets at that time and was very fond of them.

Your mother was a friend for many years and as you know we worked together for over 40 years. I first met your mother in 1960 when I joined the staff of the Circuit Clerk's office (a total of 5 people).
