Genoa, I am so sorry to hear that you lost your dear husband Mel. Barbara Feresso told me in church last Sunday that she saw the obituary. I know we haven't chatted for a long time but I think of you guys every time I drive down 13th Avenue. Mel was such a nice guy. I loved the time we were all at your house. And I remember that you had the nicest lawn in town thanks to Mel! I know this must be a very difficult time for you. I have been praying that God will give you strength and help...

Cheryl and I send our heartfelt condolences to you following the death of Mel. He was a wonderful man with a great sense of humor and a "playful" personality. I will miss my interactions with him at the Elks, whether discussing the Dodgers versus the Angels, the purchase of pickles, politics, and many other topics. He will be sorely missed by many.
