Not sure what to say?

Michael with somebody that everyone liked... Friendly and warm and kind. He is sadly missed!

Michael babysat us as kids and was my favorite babysitter of all time. He was fun and a great person. I saw him some years ago looking for a Christmas tree at Good Luck Farms by Goodwin Circle. I told him this story which put a smile on his face. Two years have passed and I am sure you all miss him terribly. May he rest in peace. Anne Tisdell, Webster, MA.

A year has passed, Michael, but your memory shines brightly in your friends & family! Rest in peace. I pray for the family to be supported during this process of grief and loss.

Julie, Maureen and I wish to express our sincere condolences for your loss. Working with Michael on the Housing Authority provided great incite into his care and concern towards the elderly both in the town and especially with the Housing Authority. Your presence is already missed

I was saddened to learn of Michael's passing. The first time I met him was in 1956 shortly after we moved to Swampscott. Our parents knew one another from their Worcester years. Michael babysat me and my siblings. He was such fun as was his sister Mary!! I was always very happy to see them! I last encountered him in December 1995 while we were both shopping for Christmas Trees. I recognized him and told him how he and Mary were among my favorite babysitters & recounted how much fun he was...

Julie and family, please accept our sincere condolences for your loss. Michael was a good guy with a great dry sense humor who would do anything for you. It was always fun to see you together with extended family. He will most certainly be missed. We are traveling and unfortunately are unable attend services.

Mike and I were classmates at Holy Cross and saw each other regularly in AFROTC. He was as nice as they come—friendly, solid, loyal, quiet, introspective—a young man of utmost honor and integrity. I last spoke to him when he called me in January 2011 to express his concern over the murder by an active shooter of my judicial colleague, United States District Judge John Roll, and others in Tucson at an event for then Congresswoman Gabby Giffords. This is but one illustration of how he...

I am deeply saddened to hear of Mike’s passing. For our brief time together at Holy Cross, I was one of Mike’s many, many friends. His deep voice and sometimes serious demeanor led to hours of then important but now forgotten conversations. Of things I still remember, Mike and I went down the hill to Luigi’s Pizza (a long time favorite spot that did not “card”) on the night of my 21st birthday for my first legal beer (Mike, I believe, was a wee bit older). That night Luigi’s burned down...

Mike was one of my roommates Freshman year. He was just an all around great person and fun to be with. I did touch base with him via email a few years ago and think of him often.
Rest in peace my friend
With much sympathy.
