She was that best. I looked up to her not just because she was my mother, but because she was also my bestfriend and I couldn´t have asked for anyone else to be my mom

I always thought Monica was so sweet. I only knew her as a friend of my stepdaughter. She was kind, intelligent and a wonderful friend.

I very much loved you and everything you were about. We shared a love for art, star wars, and most importantly, being a parent. I will remember you fondly, and remember your strength in my own times of weakness. I will never forget the laughs we had when I applied "henna designs" to your freshly bald head after your treatments.
