Not sure what to say?

Dick and Nita were the best next door neighbors you could ever ask for. Dick was the Mayor of Lake Forest Dr.holding court on his front porch. We loved the chats about life and family. We miss him everyday!

To the DeVos family,
My prayers and condolences to you. I met you Dad in 1978 when I transferred from the Alcoa Sales office to the plant. He later became my boss and was a pleasure to work with. Keep your memories of both your parents close to your hearts.

Dick was one of the nicest and warmest people I've ever met. As a couple, Dick and Nita were a big party of warm incredible. Everytime we'd go down to the family farm I'd be greeted with "Brian!" from both of them. Nita would give me a hug and a kiss and Dick would give me a firm handshake and a big smile. He then would ask me how things are going, step back, put his hand to his chin and listen intently. For someone to do that for a kid is the most wonderful thing.

God Bless...

He will be missed, great neighbor and friend. His picture still on wall at Hilliard lakes . God speed, Rest In Peace.

Rick, Duke and family,
Sorry for your loss. Your family has had many great years in the city of Bay Village. Rick, you’ve moved and Duke, I see you from time to time.
I’m glad your parents choose to raise all of you in BV. I hope the memories of your father are replaced by your sorrow. Tim Doyle

My deepest sympathies to all the DeVos clan. May his memory be a blessing to you all and may your children continue to remember and share the stories of your memories.

To the DeVos family I send my deepest regrets for your loss. Mr. DeVos was a wonderful person and a very caring boss. He hired me at Alcoa 47 years ago and I have always been so thankful for that. I will keep you all in my daily prayers, and wish you all the best.

Rick, Julie, Duke and Kate, I'm so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. Your mom and dad were my second parents on Lake Forest growing up. What an amazing man he was. I truly believe they are together again smiling down on you all. Much Love, Molly Kiesel
