Not sure what to say?

Bob was a true friend and mentor for over 30 years. He may have made as much impact as any agent in the history of the FBI. I'm very saddened to see a colleague, instructor and friend has passed. Bob was literally one of my heroes. He was an inspiration for my 1st book (photo), and in fact it is dedicated to Bob and Roy Hazelwood. May peace be with you and rest your soul.

I just saw that Mr. Ressler had passed away. My sincereest apologies to his family. I was in high school and used to hang out with friends and his daughter, lol. I used to love when he would talk to me about his work.
R.I.P., Mr. Ressler, and blessings to your family.

An amazing man, a great teacher. My deepest sympathy to his family, friends, and coworkers. We are all deeply in his debt.

Helen and Family,
As I said when we spoke,my heartfelt condolences on Bob's death. He was a remarkably gifted man, a dogged investigator and a great instructor and mentor.
He maintained a long-standing affinity for the Cleveland area and the many celebrated investigations and people he dealt with while working here. Not withstanding his well-deserved recognition for his contributions to law enforcement,he remained a very genuine down-to-earth Chicagoan.I feel fortunate to have gotten to...

May you draw close to God in prayer and find comfort in reading his Word.

I had the pleasure of being a student of Bob's at Quantico in 1982. He was a terrific person and a real gentleman. I know he had a strong affinity for Chicago and he will be truly missed.

I was so sorry to hear about Bob's passing. I worked with him in the Cleveland office of the FBI for several years. Bob was one of the good guys and will be remembered by many with much affection (and lots of smiles).
