Dear Sandra, When I read your recollection of Robert it brought tears of joy and remembrance of just one of my son's beautiful qualities. He embodied so many uniquely special qualities so rare in today's world. I spent the last 10 months living with him and being enraptured by his magical nature. I met your son once, sometime last spring. There was a little dog who was clearly not used to being outside on its own. It was staying on the sidewalk, going up and down the street, by the Congregational Church in Bethel. Another woman and I tried coaxing the dog over to us, but it kept moving away.

Robert came jogging down the sidewalk, and paused to talk with us because he noticed what we were doing. When we said the dog must be lost, he turned around and pretended to continue...
