Robert was born on July 31, 1948 and passed away on Monday, September 10, 2018. Robert was a resident of North Carolina at the time of passing. The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Thursday, September 13, 2018 at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, Caswell Ward by Bishop Dwayne Bryant, with the burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7pm Wednesday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at the home. Memorials may be made to ARMC Charitable Foundation c/o Patricia Bynum Fund, P.O. I am so sorry for your loss... I am also sorry that I didn't know of his passing until almost a week later. I only saw Buggs occasionally over the years, but whenever I did, it would make my day! He was a nice guy and a fine man. One of my earliest school memories is seeing him pull up in the Anderson parking lot in that beautiful "baby blue" GTO. I am so sorry for your loss. Buggs was a wonderful partner and advocate for Piedmont Community College's workplace literacy program at Burlington Industries. He believed in education as a means to lift people up to discover their potential. Enjoyed working with him and of course, his sense of humor. Blessings to you all in your time of grief.
