Not sure what to say?

Hey Bob, I always think of you when I see Dothan on a weather map and the times we met up when you were in Philly and Texas as I travelled around the country. You were always the consummate host. Rest easy my friend. Semper Fi

Just heard Dothan mentioned again the other day and thought of you.

I'm still out here Bob which keeps your memory alive. Each time someone mentions Dothan or I happen to travel near there, I remember you. Our visits in civilian life in Philly and Dallas as our paths crossed again bring smiles. See you again someday, until then, Semper Fi

Bob still comes to mind at odd times and I think of his passing. Especially every time I hear Dothan or see it on a map.

I met Bob about 8 years ago at a JUMPS reunion in Missouri. He and my husband, RAK, served together in the Corps. My husband has always talked fondly about him. I found him to be a friendly, witty, and warm person. We would like to express our deepest condolences to his family, he will be missed by many.

I am Jack Poynters 3rd cousin and retired from the U S Navy. I am always sorry to hear of a Military Person passing away. Even though I did not know Bob personally ,I wish to extend my sympathies to Bob's family and friends.

I was saddened and shocked to hear of Bob's passing. Brothers in the Corps, we reconnected at our "Dirty Thirty" reunion in the Missouri woods. Over the years, I visited him in Dallas and a wedding in Philadelphia and found him to be a gentle giant and a good friend. I wish to express my deepest and sincerest condolences to his family and those of us who knew him. I will miss him and the contacts we maintained over the years.

Bob and I worked together in the Marine Corps. He was always full of life and was a good man.

Bob was a good and faithful friend to we who served with him in the Corps, for many, many years. We will miss his dry wit. Semper Fi, Bob. He will raise you up, on Eagle's wings, on the last day.
