Not sure what to say?

ALIX Ann, I'm so deeply sorry about John. I haven't been opening all of my e-mails because I must use a gadget of Shelley's & sometimes she needs it for her weork. I just now opened the e-mail about John & I'm sick to my stomach. I'm berating myself for not seeing it sooner & I'm so sick for you & Frank. My son-in-law Michael was down here over the 4th of July week-end & thankfully he's in remission. He has , or had, Please God, Lymphoma. He went thru hell & thankfully he's one of the lucky...

Dear Alix Ann and Frank:
For many reasons in these last few days thoughts of John have come back to me. When we met him..he was only in his early teens. That was way back..I recall..he was a wonderful young man with a ready wit, respectful .and I so remember..his laugh. He had a way of expressing himselfthat way. What a gift.

He never Changed. He was John..pure and sincere and with that same smile and laugh.

My earliest memories of my cousin John make me smile. He was always full of life and engaging in it to any extent he could. We have pictures of him at our wedding (he was 8) and that spirit of play was evident. What a loss for our world and our family!

With deepest sympathies to Alix Ann & family.

DearFrank, Please accept my heartfelt sympathy in the loss of your brother. You and your sister and his wife and children without doubt have lost someone who made a difference and lived well! May your faith and God's love give you comfort at this time when his loss is stinging. Continue to live as he would have cheered you on to do.
Very truly, Carol Anne Baker, RN, formerly of TJUH (your residency years)

Alix Ann and Frank,
Sorry to read about your loss.
Rick Gill

He had a dimple in his chin-- " devil within". He never saw the glass half empty and always had a laugh that was infectious. HE WAS A PRESENCE. He showed us all how to live. He held the highest of ethical standards in is work and
how he related to those he worked with--he truly IS a great
man and will be greatly misssed my his big sister....

In memory of my beloved brother with whom I shared so much a life and was a
witness to mine as we grew up. It is
a void that I hope in time will be
filled with the wonderful memories of
the lifetimes we shared together. From
his brother, Frank

Alix Ann & Frank,
A sad time, but a peaceful time for John. Be proud of the fine person he was as a husband, father and brother.
