Not sure what to say?

Trustee Samuel Gaither was just Uncle Sam to so many of us! I looked forward to his smile most of all on Sunday mornings! Rest in The Lord!!!!

To the Gaither Family,

Uncle Sam as you were known to so many young and old. Thank you for your dedication and sacrifice that was given to me and family. You fought a good fight, you finished your course and you kept the faith. God Bless you and may you rest in the arms of God.

Uncle Sam, how you will be missed. We will carry you in our Hearts forever. A young man from humble beginnings in Cherryville and Union County grew into a Distinguished Gentleman loved by all. Your Monroe Family - Dot, Lynn, Larry, Crystal & Malcolm

Trustee Gaither was a true soldier in Christ! I'm truly honored to have been able to pick Trustee Gaither up on the Church Van and transport him home on my Sundays from SBC. I witnessed Trustee Gaither's faithful commitment to God and his kindness. He will always be respected and remembered in my heart. I thank God for allowing our paths to cross. May God continue to bless Pastor Keith and his ministry abundantly!

Respectfully,
Sister Theresa Precia

Trustee Samuel Gaither was one of the nicest people I had the priviledge of knowing at Springfield Baptist Church. Any Sunday I was preparing announcements, he always made it his business to come in and ask me how I was doing to the point, where I looked for him on those Sundays.

Before his wife passed, He would always make sure her name was on the list of prayer requests. I loved his dedication to her.

To live to be 100 years old is nothing but God's...

Trustee Samuel B. there aren't enough adjectives in the English language to describe you and what you were to our family. We love you and appreciate you. Anyone who has ever met you would say the same things: kind, gentle, intelligent, funny, easy-going, loving and skilled. I will simply say you are my Uncle Sam, my buddy, my friend. Now who am I going to drink Pepsi's with and practice my spiritual advise on. Love you will always cherish you. One of your Spiritual Advisers your nephew -Keith
