Not sure what to say?

Stephen Ireland was a man of great intelligence, class, and integrity. His letters were beautifully written - I referred to them as a work of art. Whenever I had to respond to one I would agonize over my paltry attempts! He was my voice of reason in heated situations. I had immense respect for him. I am so sorry to hear of his passing.

I just saw that Stephen had passed. He represented both my and my daughter's interests with integrity and resolve and I was always impressed by his dignity, honour and honesty. May he rest in peace.

dearest sally
i just learned of Stephen's passing through a former client and was so very sad to get this news. Like all who knew him, my memories of him are of his integrity and goodness. I hope time will be your friend. Michael and I will keep you, Eleanor and Cory close to our hearts.

Mr. Ireland was the opposing counsel in my recent custody dispute. Family law is so advesarial that one never likes the lawyer representing the other party and I can't say I either liked Mr. Ireland or even knew him personally, but I will say this. Through his actions, I always knew that he had the best interests of our child at heart and was clearly a man of integrity. Best wishes to Mr. Ireland's spouse and family.

Stephen was kind, fair-minded, and wise, and had a great passion for justice and for trying to get people to be their best and to be the best for their children.

I was only a small client but was always treated with respect and undivided attention. Stephen was someone I will remember as a true professional. Reading all the wonderful tributes to him, I now wish I got to know him on a personal basis. He is in my prayers as are his family. May he Rest in Peace.

Dear Sally and Family, I am so terribly sorry to learn of Stephen's illness and passing. I had missed seeing you at music events, but did not know that he was unwell. He was always so pleasant and such a kind, thoughtful man. I am so sorry. Take good care of yourself, Sally.

Stephen Ireland was a lawyer with much integrity, who provided brilliant legal guidance during a difficult process in my life. May his honest approach to law serve as an example to many aspiring lawyers.
