I was saddened to hear of Tim’s passing. As a high school wrestling coach, I was lucky enough to get to know Tim as a wrestling official with the IHSA. He was hands down the best official in the area and arguable in the entire state. Tim was professional, extremely knowledgeable, but also very approachable on the mat. It was clear to all, that Tim knew his craft, respected the athletes and coaches, and enjoyed doing what he did. He will truly be missed by the wrestling community.

Our sympathy and prayers to Tim’s family and friends. We both worked with Tim at Augustana for quite a few years. Always fun to have him around. And was so wonderful with students. Our hearts are with you all!

I am saddened to hear of Tim's passing. He was always very solid and upright, a great fellow PUG (fraternity brother) when we were in school at Augie. He is now probably coaching the angel's wrestling team. I will always remember him sucking on a web towel in order to make weight. God speed, Tim! Bob (aka "Crow")

Tim was a great guy. Our kids played soccer together. Tim and I spent lots of time on the soccer sidelines talking and watching our kids on the Chicago Kickers.
I'm especially saddened as we had just reconnected and I looked forward to seeing him.
My condolences to his wonderful family. May hr rest in peace.
