Read MoreThomas Rider was a very good man. He was also my Godfather. I was very blessed to have him in my life. He was a wonderfully loving husband, father, and grandfather. Also a great best friend for around 40 years, with my dad William Rehrig. They just loved talking sports stuff and dad always got Uncle Tom to laugh at his jokes. I will deeply miss him for the rest of my life. I love you Uncle Tom.

Tom and I were part of the Rider Tree that goes back to Catawissa. I am so glad that we had a chance to talk this spring. Such a fine person will be dearly missed by all.
