Vanessa Maria Sanders, age 61 was born on August 22, 1959 in New Orleans, LA entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 10, 2021. Vanessa was the loving daughter of Rose Sanders and the late Edward Sanders, Jr. Sister of Patricia, Pamela, Donald and Kevin Sanders and Shelita Jenkins. Sister-in-law of Randee Brown Sanders. Aunt of Niasha Sanders, Bianca Harris, Edwina (Loretta) Meyers, Bobby Harris, Michael Karl Lang, Jr. and Trey Kevin Sanders. God-mother of Shemyka Hayes. Two devoted friends, Ms. Joyce Alexander and Delores Montgomery. Also survived by a host of great nieces & nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by 2 sisters Linda and Sharon Sanders; her grandparents Rosa and Edward Sanders, Sr., Berwick and Edna Frank-Jones; 1 uncle Samuel Jimerson; 2 aunts Celestine Jimerson and Evelyn (Nannie) Merritt. Due to city regulations, only a limited number of relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at St. Katherine Drexel Catholic Church, 2015 Louisiana Avenue at 10:00 a.m. Visitation from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Father John Cisewki, Celebrant.
