William Morton Charleston - Mr. William "MaMan" Morton, Sr., of Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 13, 2016. Mr. Morton was the husband of Mrs. Bernice Morton; the father of Gayle (Titus) Morton-Wilson, Bernice (Timothy) Morton-Linen, Shawn (Richard) Linen, La'Tasha Morton, and one son preceded him in death, William "Booty" Morton, Jr.; the grandfather of Latoya Morton, Quadarrel Morton, TyQuan Morton, Raven Morton, De'Ontra Morton, Ahmad Green, Latony Linen, Mikayla Morton, Timothy Campbell, Lashawna Linen, Ta'laiyah Blunt and Kee'Aire Morton. The home going service for Mr. Morton will take place on Tuesday, January 19, 2016, 12:00 noon at Emanuel A.M.E. Church, 1957 5th Ave., Charleston, SC 29407. Mr. Morton will be laid to rest in Monrovia Cemetery, Charleston, SC. There will be no visitation or wake service for Mr. Morton.
