Not sure what to say?

Wow! I just found out about your passing and I'm so gravely grieved. I had the pleasure of working for you as a Medical Assistant at Dr. Magee's clinic in New Orleans, La. I will always cherish our small; but memorable conversations. I know you're in heaven now..... You had peace on earth; now you're resting in peace. Love, Kim Arnaud-Lacy

Am deeply saddened to hear about Dr. Agapos.

He was such a generous person. He had an enormous presence, one that I won't soon forget. From his teaching us all about subordinated debentures to dragging the Talulah V across the harbor...he was truly inspiring.

Mrs. Agapos and family, you are in our prayers.

Regards,

Morgan Bryan

I'm sorry to hear about Mike's passing away. We were colleagues at UNO in the department of economics and finance. I always enjoyed his enthusiasm for life and for his profession.

The Brothers of Theta Xi Fraternity at the University of New Orleans (formerly LSUNO) express profound sorrow on the passing of Dr. Agapos. In the late 1960's and early 1970's Dr. Agapos was our faculty sponsor. On a personal note Dr. Agapos was my teacher for several courses while I was in graduate school 1969-1971.

Sincerely,
James Ray Bentley
Secretary, Beta Xi Chapter of Theta Xi Fraternity Alumni Association

My deepest sympathy. My dad worked at Mike's dads restaurant on W. 25th Street for a short while my Mom's best friend was Mrs. Christie and family. Therefore, our paths crossed with the Agapos family frequently. Mike certainly lived his life to the fullest - his accomplishments and love for family and humanity speak for themselves. (My dad was Frank, mom was Mary and sister Jennie. Last name was Bahtsavan.

Dear Sharon,

Martha and I were deeply saddened when we learned about Mike's passing away.

Mike was an exceptional individual. He was a devoted husband, son, father and grandfather. A distinguished scholar dedicated to his profession who was very much loved and respected by students, colleagues, and friends.

To me, he was a close friend and in many ways a teacher and a mentor. I was deeply honored when he witnessed my U.S Citizenship. Martha and I were so pleased when you...

I had the pleasure of serving on the faculty at UNO with Mike. He was a great guy, a real character and so much fun. The world is a sadder place without him.

Our condolences from Alba Fishing & Hunting Club.
