Dear Blanks family,
Please accept our sympathy. It just doesn't seem possible! I remember Jerry as Jimmy's little brother, Jane's twin, the other Blanks girls' baby brother, Rev. and Mrs. Blanks' little guy, and that sweet little boy that was blessed with beautiful hair and eyes who grew up to marry my friend Peggy and protect my home community as a good fireman and
police officer. It just doesn't seem right at all, but God has a plan for us all and much of of His plan we just...

What a tragedy and loss. May you feel the comfort of knowing God still cares and loves you even as He has chosen to have Jerry closer to Him. Jerry was such an unassuming, helpful, and positive person, a real loss to his family and the community. My prayers are with you.

Dear Peggy and Lindsey and Family...

Having just read the Danville paper on line, I am stunned by your loss as you must be also, beyond words. While I did not know Jerry well, he was always so friendly and helpful, it doesn't seem possible that he is gone. May you somehow feel God's love and support through this terrible, trying time. My prayers are with each of you.

We are so sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. We just read the posting today, Nov. 09th. Gary & Jerry met in the second grade and became the best of friends.
When Gary talks about the "good ole" days, Jerry is the first to come to mind, with a big smile. Gary will miss him deeply.

I am so sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. I worked with Jerry in the Sheriff's Dept. in the early 1980s and knew him to be an exceptionally kind and decent human being. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
