Not sure what to say?

Teal is one of my most memorable friends. I tell about meeting him and and the hunts we had together. I like to brag that he liked my cooking so much that he wanted me to cook for his Auburn football gathering. I sure would like to meet some of his family. [email protected]

Just found out about my old friend. I was calling him to go on a swan hunt. We never saw or talked very often over the years, but he was always interested. I will miss him.

He was one of the friendliest person in Fairhope. Bless by knowing him.

We sure will miss Big Teal! Love and prayers to all of the Corte family! Delane and Dexter Corte

My sister, Nancy (Hall) Dennis, Fairhope, informed me tonight of "Teal's" passing. We went to school together at Christ the King School, Daphne, and continued our friendship until I moved to New Orleans in the late 60's. "Teal" was a good man. I have fond memories of his great humor, fun guy, and just a solid individual. Regrets to "Teal's" family, and his many friends.

We will miss you.

Many many memories with the Corte family as a youngster. Big Teal will be missed. A great man!

Our heart-felt sympathies to you and your family. So many good memories with you all. Much love from the Ponders and the Monaghans (Paige and Andrew).

I have some fond memories of Big Teal from growing up. His sons' friends were always welcome by he and Miss Barbara. He always spoke to me and treated me with kindness. I specifically recall getting up at 6 a.m. one morning to go run windsprints with Teal and Del. Mr. Corte had been up for a few hours at that point, and he was pitting us against one another and trying to get us to push ourselves to be better than our opponents which, ironically, were each other. I will miss him.

To the grieving loved ones, may the peace of God that excels all thought, guard your hearts and minds during this very difficult time.
