What a beautiful sweet soul Marie is. My family knew Marie and Rev Depeal from Church. They lived near us. I would walk to their home with my son who was very young at the time back in the late 80s so he could see the Parakeet and we would just sit and visit with Mel and Marie. One summer in late 80s Marie was ill with what we thought was heat exhaustion and I went to help her at the house. (Colonial Manor). Truly the world has lost a ray of sunshine.
