I can't ski bumps without thinking of all those days on ski school skiing in the bump lines with Grant. He had to be the most fun and talented mogul skier I have ever skied with

Rose,
I was on a bike tour in the Finger Lakes, having a lunch break when I got the incredibly sad/shocking news on my cell phone. The other five guys I was with were all old bike riders/QUAD participants and to them and to myself Grant really was a legend. When he dropped that 27:50 TT this spring at age 62 it created a real buzz in the whole people-sports community and I was linked to quite an e-mail string with like-minded others that went on and on about how unreal that ride...
