Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Ledbetter was one the great teachers in the lives of many of us. She fostered a love of politics and civics in a lot of her students. Her work with Model Legislature was a call above and beyond her already great work as a teacher. I offer my sympathies to her family. She touched many lives and probably never knew what an inspiration she was to all of us.

I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Ledbetter's passing. She was such a wonderful teacher and an inspiraton to us all. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. May she rest in peace.

Mrs. Ledbetter was a major part of my early adolescence (4th-8th grade) and my early adulthood (9th-12 grade). I will always remember her laugh, her stern lectures that I could do better, her scented tissues on her desk, her driving us to Phoenix to see new movies and her love of theater. You were my mentor and you pushed me to get the education I needed. You will always remain in my heart.

I will miss the talks we used to have. Rest easy "pretty lady" we will miss you.

You will be greatly missed by the people's lives you touched. Rest In Peace

May her spirit ride in the wind and be at peace.

While I never was in one of Mrs. Ledbetter's classes at MHS, I had the opportunity to work with her in my professional capacity and always found her to be dependable, thoughtful and in tune with her students. She also was a good personal friend through my adult life. My deepest sympathies to the entire family.

Mrs. Ledbetter was a crackup, but wouldn't take no crap either. I know because she made me tow the line in class. I thought I was going to die of boredom in her class, but it was anything but boring. I always enjoyed her positive attitude & sense of humor. Best wishes on the other side.

How do you describe a woman who impacted so many with her grace and kindness and inspiration as a teacher there was no one like Mrs. Ledbetter, in my 30's I reach out to her once again and she inspired me to continue with my degree and to pursue my writing, she was the greatest teacher, and taught me that even if we are a little late it is never too late to live your dreams. Blessed Be and Peace give you wings Mrs. Ledbetter, You are a treasure that we shall all miss deeply
