Not sure what to say?

What a wonderful man was Woody Patrick. I will never forget the warmth of his smile and genuinely personable demeanor. Whether in the hardware store, or out in public, every encounter with him was a pleasure. He was a true gentleman.

I offer my heartfelt condolences and prayers to his family.

Dear Ida and family,
Sadness is in our hearts as a result of Woody's death. His death brings into fresh focus so many kind images and memories. He was a true friend and enourager. Our ministry at Sentara Hampton General was enhanced because of his faithful support. He was a true inspiration to us; we honored and respected him for many reasons. What a welcome we always received by his warm, engaging smile. You have indeed suffered a great loss.
Affectionately, Bert & Margaret Kirby.

Ida and family,
Elizabeth and I were informed by Wanda Matthews of Woody's passing.
We are sorry we could not be there but please know you are never far from our hearts. God's blessings be with you as you grieve Woody's passing.

Ed and Elizabeth Waldrop

Levona and I was deeply distressed to hear of Mr. Patrick's passing. We always enjoyed his pleasant greetings at the store, as well as seeing him at church. He will be missed very much.

So sorry to learn about the passing of Woodie. I didn't know that he and I had the same Birthday. He will be greatly missed by scores of friends. It was always a pleasure to shop at their store. All of the family were great folks.
