Mr. Roche,
Sir, I didn't know you but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the U.S. Navy in the Korean War aboard the destroyer USS Barton(DD-722) which served as part of Task Force 77 and served on bombardment duty off the east coast of Korea where is was damaged twice in combat-first by enemy coastal artillery fire and again when it struck an enemy mine and lost five sailors MIA. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
