Not sure what to say?

Brother Armstrong taught my Sunday School class over 20 years ago. I remember that he was kind, happy and loved by all of us kids (7 year olds). Your dad was a great man.

I am so sorry for your family. I know what you are going through. I lost my sweetheart in Sept. of 2003. He was a good friend of Shanes. He worked part time on concrete trips for Shane and always spoke very highly of him. His name is Joe Campbell. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. If I can help you in any way, please contact me.

Sister Armstrong, I was saddened to read Shane's obituary in the paper tonight after being out of town for several days. Shane would "light up our office" with his smile and greetings whenever he visited (Nibley City Office). I can't believe he won't be "stopping by" anymore. Our day was better after spending just a few minutes with him. The thought "each life that touches ours for good" expresses my gratitude for Shane's friendship and I want you to know he was in our prayers, as you...

Judy,

Alice and I were sorry to read of your husband's passing. I have appreciated over the years your friendship to me. I tried to attend the viewing but with my schedule and the lines there, I just could not stay but we wanted you to know that you and your family are in our prayers. God bless you through a challenging future.

Sincerely,

Lyle and Alice Hillyard

Shane was such a joy. He brought a smile to my face every time he walked into my office. I will miss him dearly. I am so glad I knew Shane and was able to work with him the short time I did. My best to the family.

Judy,

I will always remember Shane and what a wonderful father, husband, and person he is. My heart goes out to you and your family please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. May the lord comfort and hold you at this time. If you need anything know that I am here for you.

Dear Judy,

Our hearts go out to you more than we can say. We are so very sorry that we were not able to attend the funeral. We just buried our grandson yesterday (Friday). I am down in Salt Lake with my daughter as this was her only child and she has no husband. Tom went home late last night and planned on attending the funeral but was unable to do so as he is still grieving and it has been a difficult day for him. He wanted you to know how dearly he loved Shane and he was one of...

I am so sorry.... There is nothing anyone can do or say. It will take time. Nothing will seem real for a while. Just know that he is always with his girls and loved ones.
