I pray your family finds comfort during this tough time. I'm so sorry you guys are going through this. I know you miss him so much already. You guys are on my mind. MUCH love!

We are out of town and just learned of Ray's passing. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. Ray was gentle, kind and a loving man who was so attentive and helpful to our beloved parents Sy and Nancy. He will be missed. Sending you our deepest sympathy, Steve , Diane , and Stephanie Sowder

I grew up with Ray and remember some good times. I have thought of him many
times over the years. He was a fine fellow.

My thoughts are with Ray's wonderful family. I had known him for 35 years or more. What a prince of a gentleman, always a smile and a firm handshake from those huge hands. A man who always thought of others first, and could sell anything in the world, a born salesman for sure.

Becky and family, our deepest sympathy and prayers are with you. Ray was a very special person and knowing him made our time in Roanoke so much more enjoyable. He will be forever remembered in our prayers and thoughts. We will miss him dearly.

My condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Sowder. I did some work for him when he had his car lots and he was a genuinely nice man.Gone too soon.
