God used Rev Bryant to start one of the most praise worthy group of young people in Chicago. I have so many memories of growing up singing with DRCC Yes He has brought us a mighty long way.... To continue to Climb up that Mountain. For Rev. Bryant his climbing is done, rest in peace.

Rev. Bryant was like another family member in our family. The Ellison family truely adored, admired and respected him for who he was and his love for Christ. Although I was the baby in the family and didnt grow up with him in my life the way they did, he was still a wonderful person(as I remember). I will only know/think of him when I hear his trademark song for Greater St. John A.M.E,"HE'S SWEET I KNOW". Job well done servant. R.I.P

I pay homage to Rev. Bryant, who was one of the founders of the David E. Readye Community Choir at Greater St. John A.M.E. Church in Chicago, Illinois. At one time, there were over 100 members in the choir. I remember Rev. Bryant singing the lead on "He's Sweet I Know" and "I'm So Glad Trouble Don't Last Always". What an inspiration we was to all of us. I pray for his family.
Eleven ministers came out of that choir!
With much respect,
