Aaron Stuart Burby

Year after year many of us standing beside the Vashon Hwy with Destia close by cheered him on as he continued to run in his father's legacy, the Burby races. We're very sorry to learn of his passing.

Such a strong, caring man of 46 years. Like his father, Bill, he made so many meaningful connections in his lifetime. When I see Aaron's photo on this page I am transported back to our baby-sitting co-op days on Vashon Island. Aaron and I stand side by side in front of our freezer on a summer day. He knew I had home made yogurt popsicles in the freezer and each one had a surprise inside. I will never forget his delight at finding hidden blueberries within those Tupperware pops.

Sorry for your loss. I spent many good times with Aaron from work, rugby, room mate and all round good friend. "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, Love leaves a memory noone can steal."

I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine your sorrow. Aaron was an extraordinary person. I'll always remember him as smiling and happy. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

I hope Bill was there to greet Aaron. I like to think that this is what happens when we pass. I remember Aaron as a little boy running around with his dad. Both father and son lived a good life, a meaningful life. R.I.P.
