Aaron was my dad. These are some pictures from summer some four years ago now. We traveled all around the state climbing places we shouldn´t have and laughing about things no one else got. I´m so grateful that we got this extended trip together. It meant the world then and it always will.

It is hard to express the degree of shock and heartbreak I felt on learning of Aaron's passing. While I had only known him in the past year, in that time he had become a friend I trusted and admired. He showed up for me in moments of both lightness and difficulty, always with thoughtful consideration and kindness, an open ear and heart, good stories or wisdom to share, and a ready, infectious smile. Got to know this Gentleman in Charlotte This was at a Willie Nelson show. Only just heard.

In the short period of time I got to know Aaron, it was abundantly clear that he had a kind, gentle soul. He spoke soft with a slow cadence as sweet as molasses, it was disarming, relaxing even. He was very diligent in his work and held a great deal of integrity. He had a knack to tinker and use technology to build a work flow and note system that almost had a life of its own.
